About

The classic story: a person in a garage.

Meet our motley crew.

Adam Schwartz

Founder & CEO

Adam Schwartz

SF-born and Berkeley-raised Adam founded Computer Courage (and, by extension, Linea) in 2006. As a kid, he dreamed of being an astronaut, although confined spaces no longer sound fun to him.

Adam’s perfect weekend includes hanging out with his family, going to a Warriors, A’s, or 49ers game, walking Lake Merritt, and eating a fried chicken sandwich. On occasion he tries to play guitar, something that both entertains his children and disappoints his wife and friends.

Sam Morris

He/him

Managing Director, Creative Services

Sam Morris

Sam found his true calling when he started a web design business at age 11. He’s since mastered his craft as an interdisciplinary designer and now leads all web services at Linea.

Sam is known for his strong work ethic (rumor has it he’s spent 8 hours straight at his desk without getting up), so he pleasantly surprised us all when he said he likes Fridays best because they signal time to relax.

Eric Stroo

He/him

Managing Director, Strategic Services

Eric Stroo

Eric has a coaster on his desk that says he’s “The Most Handsome Digital Strategist in the Land,” and his love for self-aggrandizement pales only in comparison to his love for making great websites that help clients succeed.

When he’s not at his desk, you’ll find him trying to amuse his son, flying in the sky in a single-engine Cessna, or on a trail with a backpack exploring his beloved Pacific Northwest.

Kyla Garrow

She/her

Director of Operations

Kyla Garrow

When she isn’t project managing like a rock star, you can find her playing Pokémon Go with her friends, snuggling with her kitty, Rainbow, or traveling the world.

Bay Area born and raised, she has spent over a decade (!) with the company. When you get a chance, ask her about her kitty, or her favorite TV show, The Good Place. Bonus points for bringing along her favorite candy bar, Butterfinger.

Mindy Lue

Lead Developer

Mindy Lue

Mindy grew up in the suburbs of LA, meaning she can’t answer any questions about LA proper. Sorry.

With 12 years at Linea under her belt, she’s our highly-experienced lead web developer. We lucked out that her original dream of being a classical musician fizzled, although we 100% support her plan to pick up the piano and cello again. Mindy currently has us on the hunt for her favorite chocolate bar, the Dutch-made Tony’s Chocolonely.

Kyle Tripp

Senior Developer

Kyle Tripp

Kyle’s web development skills belie his hidden talent as a Guitar Hero expert. Coming up on 5 years with the agency, he unwinds from his week of programming work by relaxing at home with a BBQ and good music. He’s fluent in all Family Guy and King of the Hill references, so bring them on.

With two young sons in his life, Legoland currently tops Kyle’s list of next exotic travel destinations.

Wesley Lai

Senior Strategist

Wes Lai

Outside his talents as a multifaceted marketing strategist, Wes plays the guitar and bass and is an amateur music producer. You might find him after hours playing softball or catching up on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Wes makes time on weekends to enjoy good food with great friends, as long as it’s not too late on Sunday, when he turns his focus to some serious meal prep planning for the week ahead.

Michael Rutledge

Senior Project Manager

Michael Rutledge

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Michael has had his fair share of Disneyland visits. He doesn’t care if you call him Mike or Michael, but he’s learned it’s best to give one answer when asked.

When he’s not building a stellar project plan for his latest Linea client, he’s checking out a new PC game, or giving Twin Peaks another viewing. While he once wanted to travel to space as an astronaut, he’d now be content to travel to Hawaii or Japan.

Alyssa Tojino

She/her

Office Manager

Alyssa Tojino

Alyssa hails from Martinez, CA, where she grew up wanting to work at a pet store to be with the animals. We’re glad that she likes cats, because as our Office Manager of 6 years, she often finds herself in the position of herding them.

If she’s not out and about hiking on our local trails, you’ll find her seeking out a good PC game or trying to find the best sushi. Rumor has it that she’s hoping to visit Sweden for next year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
